4-Piece Full Frame Aluminum Skid Plate Set, 2017-2021 Can-Am Outlander 570 Max/DPS

NOT a good buying experience.... When shopping online for the skid plates that would fit my 2018 Outlander Max 570, I found that the part number shown online was not correct. Contacted Ricochet and they updated their website and left a phone message with the correct part number. Made the purchase on line. Checked the box when it arrived and it had my name one it and the correct part number BUT when I went to install it, the middle section with the foot well protection would not fit.... the bend (break) at the front was way too steep and interfered with the plastic close outs on inside of each fender.... had to lay it on the concrete and hammer on it with a 20 lb hammer to 'unbend' the break enough to get it on... THEN when I tried to install the front plate, it was 3 inches too long and obviously not the correct part. Called Ricochet and they figured the kit sent was not correct for my bike and did send me the correct front plate at no cost. More than likely, the center piece is not correct but they made no effort to replace it since I had hammered it and got it to fit. And one of the brackets that holds the back piece to the frame was not the right size and would not fit over the frame... it had a 4 stamped on it and the others had a 6. Ricochet did sent me another bracket at no cost. All this was avoidable if someone had checked the parts for correct application when they put them in the box...so easy and would have saved a lot of hassle. Just not a real happy camper. Roy Orton
