Kawasaki KLX230SM Skid Plate
Our 2020–2026 Kawasaki KLX230SM skid plate protects your bike on any terrain. Made from high-quality aluminum, it offers full coverage and comes with proprietary hardware that requires no drilling or tapping. Finished with a clear anodize for extra protection, it’s built durable in the USA by the industry’s longest-running skid plate manufacturer.

Anodized Aluminum Construction
Crafted from 5052 H32 aircraft-grade aluminum, 0.160" thick, with clear anodized protection for added durability and corrosion resistance.
New Material Option
Optional upgrade: 3/16" aluminum with a 1/4" UHMW plastic layer for improved impact absorption and smoother glide over rocks and obstacles.
This upgraded material option is only compatible with 2024–2026 model years.
Heavy-Duty Custom Hardware
Brackets are made from Chromoly steel, over 2× stronger than mild steel. Custom fasteners keep the skid plate secure, eliminate rattling, and allow easy removal for maintenance.
