We took a trip to Moab Utah and they have lots of big rocks there, when we got home I looked underneath and three of the plates where hit by rocks and no damage to the a-arms or swing arms, they had some deep gouges in the plates but they did there job and am very happy with the purchase. I'm sure something would have been bent if there were no plates there. Thanks Ricochet Sorry I have no pictures
