California XT250

I had to do a bit of modification on the small metal shield on the EVAP canister and use only the top mounting hole/bolt but it seems to work okay like that. I added some photos to show what I cut on that EVAP canister shield and how I remounted it using the upper hole. I also cut about an inch off the hose coming from the tank and about two inches for the one that goes to the one labeled carb. All-in_all a very easy adjustment with just a pair of tin snips to make it work.

Tough skid plate

Bolted right onto the frame, and added piece of mind to protect both the frame, and the motor. Great purchase!

Great skid plate

Great just have to add some kind of dampeners between it and the engine.

Good, but not great.

Pros: Solid construction. Easy installation (even on CA bike with evap canister!). Cons: Torx head mounting bolts (why do I want an extra tool to carry?). Mounting hole spacers on skid plate do not sit flush on bike frame, causing extra stress on hardware (poor design).
