The stock skid plate had 2 holes underneath for draining oil, this one only had one and I believe the one hole for the larger oil drain bolt was drilled to far forward. So, it was difficult to get a socket completely on the drain bolt. I modified the body skid plate by drilling a hole for the smaller oil drain bolt and then making larger the other hole for better access to the main oil drain bolt. Now I can unscrew both drain bolts with ease and without having to remove the skid plate every time I change oil.. I also had a hard time putting my Alba front bumper back on. The front of the body skid was too wide to put the bumper back on, so I grinded down the the skid plate to accommodate the Alba front bumper. I didn't want to spend another $100 to 150 dollars just to maybe see if another front bumper works better. The A-Arm skids mounted just fine and the swing arm skid mounted just fine. The thickness of the swing arm plate is robust, but I believe the body skid and the A Arm skid is somewhat thinner. Good enough for the trail riding I do. The locking system worked well, but I didn't care for the hex head in the mounting screws. I thought maybe a regular bolt like on the swing arm plate would work better, but I would have to try it to make that determination. I thought maybe there would be less of a chance of stripping something. Overall, I was a little disappointed. I hate to spend some money and then have to modify it to make it work better. But hey whatdoIknow?
