Skid Plate was simple to install, the packaging is well done and made the process very smooth. We have about 5 rides on our Pro XP 4 with the skid plate installed and it is holding up great. A couple small changes, the driver and passenger side floor drains line up directly above one of the mounting holes for a tube clamp. When driving in or around water this allows the water to splash up through the floor board landing directly on the bottom side of your leg. Another change is on the trailing arm mount, currently the skid plate has a small finger that goes out and protects this area but there is no good way of securing this finger. Which we have torn one side completely off the skid plate. While installing the trailing arm portion I had my concerns because I could move this finger very easily. The third and final small change has to do with the front skid plate. The bolt and nut-plate provided for the center of the skid plate section lines up perfectly with the four wheel drive yoke just before the front Diff. Seemingly no big problem but when installed the bolt is just a hair too long allowing the yoke to make contact while four wheel drive is engaged. Not a huge issue to fix but does create a bad vibration requiring a trail fix and a couple add washers. Fixed the problem later by getting a proper sized bolt and different nut and washer combination that wouldn’t stick the bolt head below the skid plate like the improvised trail fix did. Other than these little nit-picky items the skid plate is very well built and I recommend it to everyone that is in the market for a multi piece skid plate.
