Our full coverage skid plate set shields the frame, drivetrain, A-arms, and rocker panels, so your crew can push harder on rough terrain.

Built From The Good Stuff

Pick the level of protection that fits how you ride. Every option is designed, cut and formed to fit the Talon 1000R-4 FOX Live Valve frame.

• Aluminum: 3/16" 5052-H32 aircraft grade aluminum throughout. Stiff enough to take hard hits and light enough that it won't weigh down your suspension.
• Aluminum plus UHMW: The same aircraft grade aluminum with a 1/4" UHMW layer on top. You get the strength of aluminum with a slick surface that slides over rocks instead of grabbing them.
• UHMW: 1/2" UHMW frame skids that glide over obstacles and absorb impacts, which keeps things quieter inside the cab. A-arm guards, trailing arm guards, and rock sliders stay aluminum for full strength where you need it most.

Want a factory-finished look that matches your Talon? Our black powder coat gives your armor a tough, clean finish.

• Aluminum set: Full black powder coat on the front bash plate, A-arm guards, rear linkage guards, rock sliders, and frame skids for an additional $215.
• UHMW set: Black powder coat on the A-arm guards, trailing arm guards, and rock sliders for an additional $155.
• Partial powder coat is only available with the UHMW option. It is not available for aluminum sets.
• Powder coat is only available in black and may add 1-2 weeks to your ship time.
