I'm a big fan of ricochet products. this is of course a great product that is very thick and protects my bike from roots and rocks. My only issue with the skid plate is, The attachment hardware that came to me came with no directions and no markings. In my case with a YZ250, each bracket is unique and it took me about an hour to figure out which one went to what part of the frame.
So my only request would be is that the brackets would actually be labeled in where they went on the frame.
Once I figured that out it was just a matter of time getting it mounted.
The only other issue I had was that the bolts for some reason are kind of short. I would be happy with much longer bowls so I should make it easier to get the bolt started in the bracket quickly.
One tip I have for anybody mounting these and doesn't like all the noise they make, use an old tube between the frame and the plate.
