• 3/16" 5052-H32 Aircraft Grade Aluminum: Maximum strength and rigidity for demanding trail use and heavy impacts, the go-to choice for riders who want solid, long-lasting protection across the entire kit.
• Aluminum with 1/4" UHMW Layer: Our hybrid option adds a self-lubricating UHMW layer to the 3/16" aircraft grade aluminum frame skids that slides over rocks and debris with ease, great for mixed terrain riders who want the strength of aluminum with added glide. All other pieces in the set stay 3/16" 5052-H32 aircraft grade aluminum.
• 1/2" UHMW Frame Skids (2021-2025 models only): Thick, lightweight, self-lubricating 1/2" UHMW that glides over rocks and roots with ease, ideal for riders who spend a lot of time on rocky or rooted trails.

Want a blacked-out finish? Add a black powder coat finish to your front bash plate and frame skids for an additional $140, for a sharp, durable look that lasts. Powder coating is available in black only.

UHMW can't be powder coated, so powder coating is for the aluminum kits. Powder coat orders may add 1-2 weeks to your shipping time. Worth the wait.
